Beijing Huwokang Technology Co., Ltd. has announced the AERIS integrated therapy surface line, comprising two models: AERIS TX for intensive-care and high-dependency settings, and AERIS HC for home and long-term care. Both share the same sensor architecture and control logic; they differ in pressure range, frame geometry and acoustic target.
Specification summary
- Interface pressure range — AERIS TX: 13.5–32 mmHg. AERIS HC: 30–60 mmHg.
- Lateral rotation therapy — 0–30° with cycle times from 15 to 120 minutes on both models.
- Microclimate management — 25–40 °C at the skin interface, with continuous airflow at 0.3 m/min.
- Sensing — six channels sampling interface pressure at 0.1 mmHg resolution.
- Safe working load — ≥ 135 kg (TX), ≥ 200 kg (HC).
- Acoustic target — ≤ 45 dB (HC), sized for bedroom use.
What "integrated" means here
Three functions that are usually specified separately are combined in one platform: alternating pressure that redistributes interface pressure across the surface, lateral rotation therapy, and microclimate management. The six sensing channels feed the control loop that drives both, and the readings are available to clinical staff for documentation and review.
Deployment and evidence
AERIS therapy mattresses are used across 48 hospitals in critical and long-term care. In internal evaluation, alternating-pressure sequences increased tissue oxygen saturation (p = 0.04) and skin blood flow (p = 0.001). Full specifications, indications and the clinical summary are published in the AERIS brochure (PDF), available on request.
For distributors
HWK is appointing distribution partners in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the EU. Trade terms — MOQ, lead times, warranty and payment — are published on the partners page, and distributor applications can be submitted through the contact page.
